About Guanacos Tech
What's in the name.
Guanaco is what Salvadorans call themselves — the word became how El Salvador says hello to itself. We chose it because the team is Salvadoran by origin, and because of what it stands for: showing up, doing the work, and finishing it well.
Rescue work, mostly, since 2018.
We started taking on Workspace and Cloud engagements for SMBs in 2018. Most early projects were rescue work — migrations that had stalled, deliverability that had collapsed, infrastructure that had drifted past what its owners understood.
The same companies kept hitting the same problems with the same tools, and the people who could fix them properly were too expensive, English-only, or simply absent from the local market. That gap is the reason we exist.

Workspace admins who inherited the console and don't know where to start. Founders who became their company's IT department by accident. Operations leads who need someone bilingual, certified, and reachable when something breaks on a Friday afternoon. We've shipped 80+ projects — most of them ongoing engagements that only get noticed when they stop being a fire.

Fixed pricing wherever possible.
You know the number before work starts. Hourly engagements are scoped explicitly. Discovery calls are always free.
Bilingual is how we work.
English, Spanish, or mixed — same team, same response time. It's not a marketing line.
Stop billing when it makes sense.
We'd rather lose a small retainer than keep one we shouldn't be on. Repeat work comes from doing the right thing first.
